Who we are

What data we collect

• WhatsApp messages — when you tap our WhatsApp icon and start a chat, we receive your phone number, profile name and the content of the messages you send.
• Email contact — when you write to info@valso.fi or any other Valso address, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
• Server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and reliability purposes.

Why we collect it

We use this data solely to communicate with potential and existing customers — to answer questions, prepare offers, and deliver projects. We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence (WhatsApp and email) only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for the period required by Finnish law (typically up to 6 years for accounting-related records). Server logs are retained for a short technical period and then discarded.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• request correction or deletion of your data,
• object to or restrict processing,
• lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Third parties

When you contact us through WhatsApp, your message is also processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd under their own privacy policy. Email is delivered through our email provider. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
